In 2014, they joined the Italian family of brands Olip S.p.A and transitioned to a more modern name that still pays homage to the label’s beginnings. A.S.98 is an amalgamation of Airstep and the label’s founding year of 1998. The brand’s ethos and style remains rooted in their original vision. Each A.S.98 is ethically handmade in Italy from vegetable tanned fine Italian leather, with their designs continuing to push the fashion boundaries of silhouette, colour, texture, and function.
