ONLINE EXCHANGE POLICY

To initiate a return for an item purchased online, email shop@footlooseshoes.com with your order reference number within seventy-two hours of purchase's arrival for approval and instructions. Fully priced items shipped within Canada can be approved for exchange or returned for store credit. Footloose Shoes does not offer refunds. Please note that the original shipping cost is non-refundable and non-creditable. Online orders purchased at footlooseshoes.com cannot be returned in store unless an arrangement is made with our team beforehand.

Local pickup orders are treated as in-store purchases and have the same exchange policy as other in-store purchases of ten days from the date of our “ready for pick up” email for in-store credit or exchange. 

All orders to the United States are final sale.

Discounted or promotional products are final sale. 

Hats, socks, footwear accessories (e.g. insoles), candles, earrings, and bath and body products are not eligible for return or exchange.

To be valid for an exchange or store credit, merchandise must be purchased at full price, received within seventy-two hours prior to return initiation, in original packaging, and unworn in original condition. 

Footloose Shoes does not assume any shipping costs or duties on exchanges.

IN-STORE EXCHANGE POLICY 

Footloose Shoes gladly offers ten days for exchange or store credit on regularly priced merchandise. We do not offer refunds to original form of payment in any case.

To be valid for an exchange or in-store credit, merchandise must be purchased at full price, purchased within ten days of return, in original packaging, unworn in original condition, and with proof of purchase.

SHIPPING

We are an independently owned local boutique. We do not have separate inventories for in store and online purchases. Therefore, items that are purchased online may have been tried on in person by in-store customers. We have hardwood flooring in our boutique, so merchandise with leather soles may have light scuffing on the soles. Light wear incurred through in-store trying on is not considered damage. We do our best to make sure all your purchases look their best and are packaged with care.

Shared inventory between our physical retail location and online shop may also effect availability of product despite our best effort to accurately represent our inventory. You will receive a confirmation within 48 hours of placing your order.

We have a small inventory of product that is held on location in our brick-and-mortar boutique. We do not have our own external warehouse of extra merchandise, so we do not always have multiples of a particular size in a particular product available for exchange. As we deal in largely handmade goods, all products are subject to slight variations.

CANADIAN ORDERS

We have flat rate shipping of $30 CAD across Canada and $20 CAD for local deliveries within the greater Victoria area, Sooke, and Sidney.

Free one-way shipping anywhere within Canada is offered on orders of $300.00 CAD or more. 

We also offer a free local pickup option online. Once your order is processed and ready for pick up, you will receive an email notification. We require local pick up orders to be picked up within 72 hours of notification. Our regular ten-day exchange policy applies to all pick up orders.

AMERICAN ORDERS

We have $50.00 CAD flat rate shipping to the United States. We use Canada Post, which then transfers to USPS at the border.

All orders to the United States are a final sale.

Orders to the United States may be subject to taxes and duties. These are entirely separate from shipping costs and are not the responsibility of Footloose Shoes. Packages can be delayed at customs. Unfortunately, this is out of our control.
